After the news of the two concerts in Switzerland, there are also three concerts in Germany in October. the concerts have been announced in small adds in various german music magazines.
If you look at the add think Sophie will not release a new album for this tour. since it has an older picture of the Memory Loves You album.

Today I found some dates on where Sophie will give to concerts this fall. While browsing on last.fm I found that she will play in Zürich and Basel on 30 and 31 October of this year.
I hope this won't be the only gigs she will do, and hope more concerts in Europe will announced.

This summer Sophie will play at the Peace and Love Festival Borlänge.
The festival is one of the biggest festivals in Sweden during summer. It will take place monday 22 June 2009 to saturday 27 June 2009. At wich day and time Sophie will preform is not yet known.

For the first time in history an album of Sophie has entered the Swedish charts on number 1! All her other album never reached the number one position, but this timethe new album The Ocean and Me has reached the higest position in one week!
Also in Switzerland the album 'The Ocean and Me' has entered the charts. Not on number 1, unfortunately, but on number 13. But the albums is the highest newcomer for this week.

The officical website of Sophie announced a new album and concert dates yesterday!
An tracklist is not released yet, but the title of the album will be 'The ocean and me''.
There is no official release date yet, but the album is expected the first part of september. Following the new album Sophie will also do an european tour trough Switserland, Austria, Germany and Sweden. For more details of this tour, take a look at the calendar or the On Tour section of this site.

Last week Sophie did her first concert of her summer tour. She played on the Hulstfred festival in Sweden. I found some pictures of her performance and put them in the gallery. I think the picures are very beautifull, I wish I could have been there to see Sophie live! I don't have a setlist yet, or any reviews but as soon as I have tose I will putt them online.
I also updated the site with music videos collected from You Tube. Including a very eary video of A thousand times, you can really see that sophie is some years older now. There are some more videos, I meself had never seen before! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
There are also some new samples online and you can listen to them using a flash player!

Sophie will be performing on 3 swedish festivals this summer. The news has not yet been confirmed on her official webpage. But on the website of the festivals Sophie is listed as confirmed.

Because Sophie has done quite some touring throught out the years I decided to create a page with all known concerts Sophie ever gave. As at it turn out it are more then i thought. Almost 130 at this time.
The list is not yet complete I think. Especially the years 1998-2003 are missing. During this peroid only a few concerts are in the list. But I think Sophie did more concert these years. If you have any detail ons this, please let me know.

The past weekend Sophie started The Ocean and Me tour in Switzerland. The first concert was in Zurich and yesterday she played in Bern, in the Bierhübeli where she played a few times before in previous tours.
You can now find a setlist in the articles section, from the concert in Zurich. And in the gallery I placed pictures form the concert in Bern.
